FRANKLIN J. KLINE

Biographical Sketch:

Mr. Kline lived and worked in Jakarta, Indonesia from 1980 to 1999. From 1985 to 1999 he was resident in Jakarta as an executive and business development consultant with Indonesian and U.S. companies through a Consulting business he established, Business Concepts TransPacific. From 1980 - 85 he was Counselor of Embassy for Commercial Affairs at the American Embassy in Jakarta, his second assignment in Indonesia, having served as and Economic-Commercial Officer at the Consulate in Surabaya and the Embassy during 1971-73. He returned to the U.S. in December 1999 to set up a small import and distribution business, spending six months in Los Angeles (his home town), and relocating to St. Louis in mid-2000. Since arriving in St. Louis he has been employed in the Teleservices industry, while continuing to be involved in the import and distribution of selected automotive products. Following service as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, he served in the Departments of State and Commerce beginning in 1964, with Foreign Commercial assignments in Burma, Iran and Japan, as well as Indonesia. In 1976-78 he managed major multi-sector market research projects, including field research, on Business Opportunities for U.S. Companies in selected emerging markets, including Indonesia. From 1978 - 80 as Senior Staff Officer of the Joint U.S. - Japan Trade Facilitation Committee he participated in US - Japan Trade Policy development and negotiations.

In Indonesia Mr. Kline was active in the American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia as a Committee Chairman, and in Rotary International. He served as Vice President of the Indonesian-American Friendship Association (Perhimpanan Persahabatan Indonesia-Amerika) and as a Vice Chairman of the Indonesia-America Committee of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Komite Indonesia-Amerika Serikat).

During his assignments as a Foreign Commercial Service Officer in Indonesia and in his subsequent business activities, he was actively engaged in advising U.S. and Indonesian firms and organizations such as the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in bilateral business, partner search, joint-venture structuring, in organizing and managing major trade and investment promotion activities such as trade exhibitions, trade and investment missions, business and technical seminars and conferences. He spoke on business opportunities in Indonesia at a number of different forums in US. Business centers. He worked closely with U.S. trade and investment finance agencies including the Export Import Bank, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and the U. S. Trade and Development Program, and with the Indonesian Investment Promotion Board (BKPM), the ASEAN Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the ASEAN Secretariat.

Mr. Kline graduated from the Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, Virginia, (BA, 1957), University of California, Los Angeles (MA, 1964) and did advanced graduate work in International Relations and International Business at the American University and the George Washington University, Washington, D.C. (1966 -76). He graduated from the Foreign Service Institute Indonesian Language and Southeast Asia Area Studies Program, and is competent in spoken and written Indonesian. Mr. Kline attends Christ Church Cathedral (Episcopal-Anglican) where he is a Lay Reader and Chalice Minister. He received a Certificate in Theology from Moore Theological Seminary, Anglican Diocese of Sydney, Australia, and is a graduate of the Episcopal School for Ministry, Diocese of Missouri. He is married to RA Ira Hapsari Harietsih. His family completed their reassembly here in St. Louis in mid-2001, and their son, Happy, is a student at the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and is active in the Indonesian Student Association in the United States (PERMIAS).

RAHMADI IMAN SANTOSA

Biographical Sketch:

Mr. Santosa has been involved in assisting Mr. Soetjipto in his efforts to promote better relationship between the people of St. Louis Metropolitan Area and the people of Indonesia. He has been an important partner in the establishment of the St. Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Affiliation since the conception of the idea.

Mr. Santosa has a master degree in international business from Webster University. He also holds a master degree in quality management from the same university. As the first among the graduate of the program, he has been involved in the quality management project internationally.

Mr. Santosa is currently serving as the official representative of the St. Louis- Bogor Sister Cities Committee in St. Louis Missouri, who is being assigned in Bogor, Indonesia. He is married with two wonderful children and he resides in the City of Bogor, Indonesia.

ANDREA ZIMMERMAN

Biographical Sketch:

Ms. Zimmerman received her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from the University of Missouri- St. Louis (UMSL) in 2003. She is currently enrolled in a PhD program in Industrial-Organizational and Social Psychology at Northern Illinois University (NIU), and is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).

Ms. Zimmerman is currently working on a cross-cultural research initiative with the purpose of studying and promoting the formation of business relationships between the United States and Indonesia.

Ms. Zimmerman is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors of St. Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Organization and residing in the State of Illinois.

JENNIFER L. STOEHR

Biographical Sketch:

Ms. Stoehr completed a Master of Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing at the University of Missouri – St. Louis in 2003. She is a member of Alpha Mu Alpha, a National Marketing Honorary Society. She also has completed a National Research Project for Beta Gamma Sigma, the worlds most recognized honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International.

Ms. Stoehr is also a very valuable Sales Executive & Marketing Specialist for Coldwell Banker Gundaker in St. Charles, MO. As one of her Coldwell Banker Gundaker team's top buyer's specialist, she has produced $5.3+ million in YTD individual sales establishing her as the #1 Team Buyers’ Agent in 2005 & 2006 YTD.
She is also a member of the #2 Real Estate Team & #1 Office for 2005 Sales in St. Charles County.

As an International Business Specialist for the St. Louis – Bogor Sister Cities Committee in St. Louis, MO, Ms. Stoehr has been assisting the committee in positioning the groundwork for a start-up non-profit organization and also promoting cooperation, establishing business investment opportunities, & maintaining contact with
governmental, individual & business entities in St. Louis & Bogor to facilitate the formation of trade delegations.

Ms. Stoehr is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the St. Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Organization. She is residing in Missouri, USA.

JOHN C. BARRETT

Biographical Sketch:

Mr. Barrett has been involved in assisting Mr. Soetjipto in his efforts to promote better relationship between the people of St. Louis Metropolitan Area and the people of Indonesia.
Holding the highest recognition (DTM) from the Toastmaster International Organization, Mr. Barrett has been actively utilizing his communication and leadership skill to bring the two communities together.

Mr. Barrett has a degree in architecture and currently working as an executive at Sorkin Company. He is also a certified financial executive. He is serving as a member of the Board of Directors of St. Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Organization.

BALJINNYAM CHINZORIGT

Biographical Sketch

Ms. Chinzorigt graduated from Lindenwood University, Missouri with a B.A in International Relations & Political Science in 2007. She earned 4.0 GPA (Summa Cum Laude) with the University of Honors. During her school years in Lindenwood, she was a member of several clubs and activities such as International Business Operations Club, Intercultural Club, French Club, and Linden Ladies and Gentleman Club. She also had a chance to be involved in many community works and activities and became a member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, National Scholars Honor Society, Foreign Policy Association in New York, and International Relations Council in Kansas City, Missouri.

Ms. Chinzorigt is currently working on an idea to promote the creation of a sister cities project between a city in the USA and a city in her native country, Mongolia. She has been assisting Mr. Soetjipto with his sister cities program to learn about the process of establishing a sister cities program.

Ms. Chinzorigt is serving as an apprentice to the St. Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Committee.
