Indonesian President H.E. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono visited St. Louis, MO

Indonesian President H.E. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono visited St. Louis, MO

On September 12, 2005, President H.E. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono visited St. Louis, MO, where he was presented with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree by Webster University.

In the breakfast meeting preceding the degree presentation ceremony hosted by the University President, Richard Meyers, President Yudhoyono verbally expressed his support to St. Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Program. The memorandum of understanding for the St. Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Program was signed on that day. The breakfast meeting was also attended by, among other people, US Senator Christopher Bond, Congressman Todd Akin, and St. Louis County Executive Charlie A. Dooley.
